Hello. Welcome to our new Peachtree City Dog Park Association web site.

This superb site provides forums, blogs and other communication tools to make owning a dog uncomplicated and more fun.

For those of you who are new to our association and the park, the Peachtree City Dog Park Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization contracting with the city to provide the management and access to the park. Everything you see at the Dog Park, including fencing, water fountains and gazebos, were purchased with contributions through our association.

We can honestly claim that without our association, there would be no Dog Park.

In addition to providing fixed assets for park, we also provide this web site for information and communication, supply management and oversight for the park, maintain $1 million of liability insurance for the park, deliver routine general maintenance, handle fence repair and maintain a reserve fund for park emergencies.  We also administer fundraising campaigns for special projects such as the much anticipated park expansion.

The Peachtree City Dog Park is one of the best parks of its kind because dog owners in our area have banded together to sustain our association, volunteer for work days and participate financially.

There are several ways you can help keep the Dog Park open. We offer Dog Park T-shirts for sale and we have the Adopt-A-Fence program to help pay for the expansion.  Also, if you click on our Amazon.com web site ad and make a purchase, our association will receive up to 7-percent of the sale.

Over the years, a handful of devoted volunteers have worked continuously to raise the funds necessary to provide everything needed for the park.  Now, the association's volunteer Board of Directors is asking Dog Park patrons to help with the reoccurring costs of operating and maintaining the park.  We have instituted an annual membership fee (per household), so that the people and pets who benefit the most from the park can meaningfully participate in keeping the park alive.
