Park Areas

Areas within the park

The Peachtree City Dog Park encompasses roughly 3.2 acres and is divided into three separate fenced areas to accommodate various dog and member needs.

Large dogs

The Peachtree City Dog Park has a large area for dogs over 30 lbs, along with a gazebo and outdoor seating for the humans. The ground is covered with wood chips, and bags are provided for dog waste. The large park offers a water spigot, a small refillable pool, a drinking fountain, benches, and plenty of chairs to sit on.

Small dogs

The Peachtree City Dog Park has a smaller area with woodchips and grass for the smaller pooches who might be intimidated by the bigger dogs. There’s a gazebo and outdoor seating for the humans here as well, plus dog waste bags. Like the large park area, this area also features a water spigot, a small refillable pool, a drinking fountain, as well as plenty of chairs.

Uncertain dogs

The rear lot is open to all dogs, but it’s particularly useful for dogs that might be uncertain about others, such as first-timers and timid dogs that are working on their self-confidence. These dogs should be accompanied only by their adult family members and kids over twelve years old. Because the Peachtree City Dog Park is a family-friendly park, dogs that aren’t good with children should use the rear lot when children are present at the park. Here you will find a water spigot, a small pool, a large gazebo and plenty of chairs.
